I went to IKEA for the first time with you. I was really going through some heavy stuff and you were totally there for me through that all, and I remember us going to IKEA as one of the favorite times I shared with you.

You are, and will continue to be one of my best friends. The kind of person that no matter what oddities I go through or changes that I endure, you'll be a rare soul that will remain by my side in my journeys through life. I also got you into LJ because you wanted to read what crap was going on with me and I've been pretty good until a year or so ago, about updating WHAT is actually going on in my life!!!! So this was a good way for you to keep tabs on me. And then you got one of your own and I have happily been reading yours since. It was like a .8217591 after you created it, I friended you.

You help me view perspectives about life that I would not be able to see on my own. You listen and have much to contribute to my life. We have inside jokes, memories, a past, a future, and a lot of closeness that few in my life bring to me. Even though you live far away. We're very different and yet very the same. I learn about others through your difference. It feels nice to be understood when so often other people mis-understand our personality types.
Being your friend makes me a better person.
Being here as your friend, is an honor.

I've always been proud of have watched from the sidelines as you went through some sort of fantastical growth in your life. I wasn't directly involved, but it amazed me to watch your transformation and witness a happier man evolve. You are a hard worker, a dear friend, and a mix of strength and sensitivity that I find at times, truly unique. I love it. I also love your abs! haha.

My favorite meals are just developing. When I was eating meat, there was nothing better than guinea hen's roasted in a Rommertof dutch oven
(clay pot), with onions and potatoes.
My favorite meal right now is blackened trout with portobellas sauted in butter with pine nuts and rosemary... very good.
