Morningtime

Yesterday was fun [Monday]. Steve went back to work [thank the gods] and in the morning I had the house to myself for the first time in TWO months. Gods, the feeling was nice. I drove to Everett and went ice skating. That was great. Children were still there :X. Guess they had yet another Monday off... grrr... oh well. That's okay! I did a lot of thinking about life in general while driving and skating. Slowly sorting out my will and things that I needed to understand.

I will be taking a stroaking class on Mondays for ice skating. Actually the same one Jill took when she began. This will be good. I need some improvement on how to skate on what edge. This makes me excited, but it also makes me want to buy some better skates. The skates I have, I am sure, have no edge left, and the blades are not worth sharpening. So I want to pester Jill to go get new ones with me.

Ummm... what else? Went to Sultan after that. Saw mom and had lunch... hung out at her house for a while. We bathed the dogs together and that was fun. I had to drive to Burien after I left there due to the fact I left my Nextel there on Sunday. Saw my grandfather for about 20 minutes [Rufus loves visiting grandpa]..... that's about it. Drove home and went online, chatting and sharing what I sorted out in my head with Cheryl. Thank the gods for good listeners. Went to bed. It just so happens I woke up early... somehow I was hoping Bobby had responded to my email. Not yet. He must be busy. I know how it is!

The day has gone by faster than usual. WOOHOO! I've made after work coffee plans with Joe. Yeay. Bobby finally responded. Yeay. Swimming soon with Steve and James.

Swimming was good exercise. But was it fun? Well. Due to Steve's lack of participation and childishness... no. It was not fun. It felt good but it was not fun.

PS-- Off to the shower. Maybe I can steam the frustration out of me.
