Trying to get in the swing of LJ
Jul. 14th, 2005 07:52 amHere I am!
Yes, I'm out here.
I *am* trying to get in the swing of LJ.
Last night was verrrry useful [rehearsal.] I think we did a good job of finding the key points in our blocking that were unclear and nailing them down. Spell has a lot of new blocking and we're adjusting to it decently. [There was one point that I, myself was struggling with. And now it makes sense.]
It was splendid to get into the movements more, rather than just visualizing. I have a lot of trouble in blocking unless physically acting it out.
I felt good about the 5 fold lines. I had picked them up yesterday, and should be able to get them to flow more readily [with more personal practice] now that herongrrrl has given a bit of advice in the matter. Yeay and thanks! Oh yeah. I have to remember to relax and flow in my movements too! I guess I was a bit more rigid than I could be! Can't wait to improve. Gotta fall into the role as well as work with loverboy420 a little more, and I think it'll fall right into place for us.
Other than that, I want to commend herongrrrl for a wonderfully directed rehearsal. Thanks for being positive, mentoring, poking, proding, and getting us all into a good headspace. You don't know how much I personally appreciate that. Thank you.
*hugs* to all.
