Hardly feels like it’s 2 days and counting.

This will be my first trip to anywhere different than WA/ORE/ID/CA, or Canada.
The experience is something I hope to treasure for a long time to come.
The 2 week time span gives me enough time to be active and lazy, I believe.
I have begun trip-prep.

You know - writing my lists [well, that was on the weekend] and getting my stuff sorted.

I have carry on reading material, as a lot of times it is hard for me to sleep once I wake up. Who knows how that will be, we’ll see.

There is also TS’ offer.
First I thought it’d be a couple of CD’s that I’d be transporting down to his step son who recently moved to Oahu. His sheepish request this morning was a bit larger. Golf clubs.

Now, I had only planned on taking 1 suitcase for check in baggage. I hear you can have 2? He’s willing to pay me $50 to fly the golf clubs over, and his son would be at the airport to grab them when I got there. Seems pretty simple. After all, if I am only taking 1 piece of baggage, then why not?

So, I agreed. Though at first he made it sound like he’d drop the clubs off at the airport, though there is a possibility I might end up taking them along with my other crap. I don’t know if that works for me; after all, I am taking a shuttle and don’t want too much with me. So I may ask him to refer back to his first offer of dropping them off at the airport in the morning with me, so that I don’t have to mess with getting them to the airport with my other belongings.

Anyhow. Needless to say I am finishing up some last minute work, and this sort.
Excitedly bought a book [a RedWall book – Brian Jacques,] to take with me and enjoy. I am sure there are bookstores in case I run out of reading material, though I thought this was a good start. The guy at Walgreens scanned the book twice though, as I later saw on the receipt, so... I have to get my $8 that the fool overcharged me for. GROWL.

So, back up to South Everett, I go tonight.

To do list for the evening:

1- Clean house
2- Finish Laundry
3- Pack
4- Drive up to Everett, drop Fritz off.
5- Stop by, or meet Steve somewhere, to get selection of CDs for plane flight/vacation.

And after said things occur, I will be all set without last minute worry on Wednesday!
