Today feels as though it will be long. It was payday, 5 days early, as the budget books for 2003 must close before the end of the year. To me, I am not sure if it really is New Years. This last year has flown past with incredible speed. I am reveling in the year’s harvest and gifts. I wonder what the next year will manifest. With the gentle help of a friend very dear to me, I think I can accomplish far more than I am even aware of. Perhaps it will also bring me back Kelsi this year. Perhaps not. I am not counting on it. I think I may even write her an e-mail today. I can be brave, yes. I am far rested and I feel ready for New Years. Ready for a night of relaxing with my family, yet again.

I will create some goals during my 2 week period of rest. I mean written down on paper. I will also begin writing a bonding ritual for Steve and myself. I feel this is important, as we need to come together and be on the same page. Here’s to a slow day.
