Long awaited update. Cheryl cares!

angelakSo here’s my post after like 2 days of crap posts!
Okay: Tuesday kicked some ass with Joe. We went to Seattle and had food. That was fun. Then we went to this really neat coffee shop, and just talked. We seemingly just talked a long time, and it felt nice to learn about aspects of Joe. It felt as I had always envisioned meetings with friends that I used to write about in my random fiction stories. Oddly enough. Just enough conversation to make things comfortable and balanced. Joe is a good friend, and intelligent enough to actually get into real discussions with. It’s also amazing because he thinks of things in a totally different way than a lot of people do, and that’s refreshing.
Wednesday was rehearsal. Bleh. It was the most chaotic rehearsal I’ve ever been to in regards to Oloteas. I realized I forgot to memorize a line… but the rest was okay. And after Saturday and rehearsing lots together, I am the feeling it will all run okay.
I e-mailed Bobby in the evening, with a few questions in regards to other personal things. That was entertaining. He responded back swiftly, which was relieving.
Lots of balls involved. Those who understand, will understand. Those who don’t. Won’t. Maybe if you ask in person I’ll go into it.
Thursday was a lot of fun. I had NO plans in the evening and that felt GREAT. But, as I got off, we decided to go to Sultan for the evening. So we drove over there and I bought new shoes with my mom, had a snack… hung out. It was relaxing and enjoyable. I got my mom an AIM screen name… that was all good. Soon I will buy her a network cable so dad can get her hooked up by her chair so she’ll always be online [yeay!]
Of course. Today…
FRIDAY …. I took an early lunch… went out with Tim and Steve to a Teriyaki place. Seems Steve asked for a letter of reference from VeriTest and when his old boss forwarded his request to HR, they were like, “we’ve been trying to get a hold of this guy. But we lost all his contacts!”
Soooo, long story on that? Steve now has a contract this Monday for a week. He has a week off, then he has another contract for the next week or two. And possible more after that, but they aren’t sure yet. Basically, it means our planned vacation in April is paid for after he works those few weeks. I’m happy to hear that. ALSO, he NEEDED to get a job.
Last night I just saddled him with more pressure about this such. Today… he’s happy. So, now… I’ve got 4 hours before I get off opposed to my usual 2-3 after lunch! Ah, I’ll live. I’ve just been pretty busy lately and not had the chance to update with substance. Cheryl noticed and e-mailed me! Sorry for dropping off the planet briefly… I was actually only e-mail corresponding with Bobby obsessantly. *shrugs* What can I say? :D
Anyway. James is coming over tonight… and I’d like to see the rest of the crew too. [Cheryl and maybe some others…] But… we’ll see. I’ve got a BUSY busy weekend ahead again. I love my busy weekends filled with lovely friends and family, and much fun. I used to feel so alone. And now… that’s not the case at all! *sighs* A few short hours and it ALL begins! *hugs* to you all. Especially YOU Stephen.
