angelak: (Mystery In You)

Good Morning World,

I had the worst cup of coffee ever on the drive on. I wanted to drop by McDonald’s to get their crappy drip coffee. But they weren’t open at 5:15AM.
So I went to the 76 on the way out to the freeway.

Bad choice. Some Columbian blend that had been there all night or some shit must have been in there, I drank some out of the merit that when I’m driving to work I feel it is paramount to slurp coffee in traffic. If there is anything that looks like traffic, it settles my nerves, ha ha. Caffeine and all. Actually I just like being awake.

Although I woke up saying, “Damn, I hate being a useful contributor to society…” at the crack of 5AM…

Anyway, the drive in was quicker than usual. I think I sped more than usual. I usually go no faster than 70MPH on Hwy 18.

I think I was hitting 80 pretty consistently. Everyone else wanted to move too. As I was slow to get moving (I was packing all my shit into my duffel bag). I told Jim I didn’t want his room to eat more of my wardrobe. If I leave anything there, his room eats it.
I know one thing is likely… I will never feel the urge to SHARE a room with Jim if at all possible. The man TRIES to organize, and … comes short of what I consider clean.

If I can’t find small things and have to hop around to get from one end to the other – I do not consider this clean. Enough. For me.

Good thing we’ve agreed that having our own rooms in the future is going to be how it will work. Much like a few friends of mine so with their SOs.

The weekend was pretty cool. Let’s see, Friday after work Travis came over and we killed some time. I don’t recall wtf we did.
Friday late night I drove to Ta’Compton and visited with Jim. Saturday I hung out in Ta’Compton and Travis came over to the Ta’Compton apartment. Sunday I got up to go running. Jim informed me that I’m more dedicated than he is. It was late in the morning (10:00AM) and he was acting like it was a 5AM jog or something. Lovely running uphill because in University Place, seriously… right where he lives, everything is a hill.

Hung out with Jim briefly and then showered and then drove to Lynnwood to meet my sister and go ice skating for a couple hrs. Did that. Saw Zach from Target and that was fun enough. He’s a weirdo but a fun third to our skating. He’s gone skating with my sister and I at the Lynnwood ice arena quite a bit.

After that I was starving. I had eaten cookies and licorice by that point. I took my mom out to Ixtapa and Jill and Jeff met us. They opened my favorite Mexican restaurant ever in Lynnwood now. (Ixtapa.) Talked with my parents a bit and then headed back out to Tacoma area. Jim and I went to see Blades of Glory when I got home.

Snuggled and then I went to sleep and he went to WoW.
This morning when he turned off alarm #2, I somehow got annoyed. How dare he turn off MY alarm clock? :P

So, I was listening to the radio on my way to Lynnwood – and it so happens I switch stations every time commercials come on one station. I listen to 6-8 different stations at any given time, on top of my CD’s and IPOD that I have (I hate my FM broadcaster to the stereo) anyway, I heard a song I haven’t heard in a while. It inspired me to get it. Because I like it.

“Riding with Private Malone,” by David Ball.
Eh, anyway. I wrote this hours ago. And now it’s end of workday. I guess I’ll post it!
