Offer on a home
Aug. 27th, 2008 03:21 pmWe have put an offer in today on a home.
We should know by August 30th whether the offer is accepted.
If any of my pals could spare some well wishes in my direction as far as our offer being accepted - we're dying to get into this place.
It is our dream home.
More forth coming if said offer is accepted and we move into escrow and closing.
*crosses her fingers!*
(There is a contingent offer that we can bump if they do not sell their house within 48 hours of when we placed our offer.)
And I hear they haven't sold their house yet.
So that means if they can't sell their house, our offer is the one that stands.
And I promise once I am done being scared of jinxing the situation - I'll share more details with those who matter most to me. I've been pretty private about this ordeal.
It mostly had to do with not wanting to talk or think too hard about something that would/would not come to reality. IF that makes sense. I was afraid to think too hard about it because it seemed that not thinking about stuff made it easier to be more patient about learning the details about where our options were. (Let's just say I've been holding my breath for 2 weeks straight.)
!!!!!
The joys of first time buying. ;)

Date: 2008-08-28 12:39 am (UTC)I just didn't feel like writing it in the entry :P
And it is doubtful these folks have tons of money seeing as these units are income qualified. :)
That and the exact same floor plan in another building is available for them in 2 more months anyway. So jeah.
