angelak | Good time for a manicure

So - I came in to work at 0400 today.
Yes. Here I am.
Facilities is supposed to be here - to meet me. We're doing 2 things: generator work (power) and building actual support for all that crap we put in the server room. Here's the crux: I was asked to come in at 4 and oversee that they not cut power to anything important (public safety stuff) or if they do - figure out what circuits this shiat is on so we can get important stuff moved to somewhere that will not go down if the proper sequence happens.

So - it's 4:41, and no one from facilities has shown. Boy am I glad I brought my pink nail polish... because that is about all that I feel like doing when asked to come in at 0400 in the morning and the people that caused me to be here are almost an hour late. Of course, after my first coat here, somehow I dropped my tiny paintbrush under my desk. Shit!!!!

*swigs some coffee and shines a flashlight under the desk...*

Edit Thank gods, I found my paintbrush! Although it had slightly dried paint on the bristles... hmmm...
