Alright. SO here it is. Another post.

It’s really hard to post the way I like to post these days. So busy, so much going on, and too little time to write about it. But I know I must force myself to. So here’s a brief explanation of the weekend.

Friday was cool. I already posted then. Saturday was fun too.

We did an with the coven and Joe as a guest. Cheryl and I realized that perhaps I’m a little less gentle on invoking people than she is. That was something we thought would be otherwise.

I aided in invoking Cristin and Joe as Minvera and Lugh. Cheryl aided Inna in invoking Inanna. And Cheryl and I invoke Morrigan. What a ride.

I would definitely desire Vicki’s ground control next time, though we were okay. The Morrigans, Cheryl and myself, seemed to gang up on people occasionally. Much talk of laundry. Heeheehee.

So, Saturday went okay. No, it went pretty damned good. I was enjoying the friends and the experience, as usual.

Sunday was fun too. I slept in later than usual, and went to my grandparents’ after paying my phone bill, and Steve finished pressure-washing the patio and walkway. That was good. It now looks bright and spiffy. Yeay for that. He also mowed the lawn on Saturday.

At Grandma’s we played with the puppies and had a barbeque.Good food, not enough room in my stomach to enjoy the good food. After that, James and my mom came to my house to visit. That was fun. But they had to leave and that was sad. Fritz spent the night. That went over okay.

Monday was not one of my favorite Mondays at all. Generally I love my Mondays. I drove to Sultan in the Camaro, as I had an appointment to get the pitnum arm replaced. Estimated around $200 repair. This was going to fix my steering issue. I had to bring Fritz with me.

Fritz cried a lot of the way, [okay, all the way] to Sultan. [an hour.] He was unhappy about not being able to ride WITH me, and being made to endure the kennel. When I though it might have been him having to go potty, I let him out. He didn’t have to go.

So I just ignored it the rest of the way until he wore himself out when I arrived in Sultan. :P He had just woken up when I left Issaquah, so I could see how it would be that he had a ton of energy and then he had to just ride to Sultan.

Nyah. That wasn’t so bad. I dropped the car off happily, got a ride to my parents’ house from my dad, and I began hanging out with the puppies and mom. We wore them out and played with them. I ended up finding out that I needed more work done that expected on the steering. The cost jumped from $200, to $800. This disappointed me. I knew that I really seriously wanted to get this fixed… so I negotiated it so it would work with my budget and Steve’s.

I was still put aback by it. I wasn’t expecting such a huge blow. Then they needed the car overnight. I was slightly stressed, but I accepted it. We decided to get my good student discount form signed for the insurance company. Mine had run out and raised my price of insurance. So, we decided to drive to Kirkland, from Sultan to go to Lake Washington Technical College. It was not a bad drive.

I got there and felt some incredible nostalgia. My old stomping grounds of sorts. I saw Kevin there, my old friend from High School. I mused, when he asked me if I was there for school. I replied, “no… I graduated with my degree nearly 2 years ago now…” This made me feel good to say. He had forgotten.

Talked briefly, and went to registration. Their server was down so they could not pull up my transcript to prove that I had at least a 3.0 grade average. It’s an incredible challenge to get down to LWTC anyway on my days off, and on my days on at work, their office closes by the time I can get down there. I was frustrated. I had taken, [round trip] 2 hours of my day off to do this. And it wasn’t going to get signed? I REALLY needed to get this signed.

My mom noticed my patience was shot. I was stressed about randomly spending $800… and also not getting my form signed. She suggested we go out and get food, and try coming back. So we did. We went to Old Country Buffet in Kirkland. We’d never been there before. We stayed there 2 hours and just talked and hung out, and slowly ate [my parents and myself.] That was a ton of fun, and I was feeling better. We then went back to LWTC and I tried again. Their server came back up and I was able to get it signed. YEAY.

I drove back to Monroe, turned it in and adjusted my insurance on the Camaro also [since I own it, I dropped the coverage.] I felt better.

We went back and hung out with the puppies. I was bored. My mom was trying to avoid a walk. But I pestered her so much that she agreed. So we took Gretchen and went to the Al Bourlin park in Monroe. We walked for an hour and a half [long time for my mom.] And Gretchen had a blast.

Then, we unexpectedly met James and Steve as we finished our walk. They were starved. They got food and we came along and shared a meal. That was fun.

Went back home. Steve is now looking for a better car off handedly. We went to Sultan Nextcar and I test drove a turbo-charged Toyota Supra for him. [he wanted someone proficient in manuals to test drive for him.] That was entertaining. Cute little car $3k… not quite what he’d be looking for though.

I came back and cuddled with the dogs. They went out more to just browse the Monroe lots. That was that. I forced myself to go home. Borrowed James’ Trans Am for the day. Went to bed tired, after sharing my latest relationship news with Cristin online. Hopefully she’ll be nice and not talk to a lot of people about it. Just cause. Even though everyone knows I dig on Bobby.

What else? Today, slow here at work, so we readied a ton of CDI machines and cleaned the office. Not so bad at all. Went out to lunch with Steve and Steve picked up the Camaro. He’s out driving with my mom. And actually, I got all but the ball joints fixed in the steering. I didn’t want to shell out $1000 at once for the repair. I can fucking go back next month or the next month after that. $800 is plenty a dent in my back account, though luckily I got a huge tax return, etc etc.

Might go for a hike this afternoon with James [and maybe Steve?]…..
We’ll see.

That’s really that. Weekend over. Another week begun. Vacation crawls closer and closer. Boy do I need it. I’m pleased to hear that my steering doesn’t wander. It’s all good. This was the first Monday I didn’t see Kelsi. But we randomly stopped by Monroe Saturday night and kidnapped her, and took her to Denny’s. That was fun. Though there are things that worry me about her. I hope she is careful and doesn’t get into any trouble.

*shrugs* Her life to lead, and all I know is that I have her friendship, and I am her best friend, as she is mine. Whatever her will be, so mote it be.

*sighs* I miss Lianna. I need to talk to her badly. What else? Not much. Here goes nothing!
Progress report on Steve and myself. Very much so doing okay. Yeay :D

Oh yes. Bobby is done with school in a month or so.
