Friday night was cool. Icky came over to stay the weekend [she's still here] and I got off work an hour early. [It was so slow the boss said, "start your weekend early.."]

Woohoo! Hung out with Steve and Icky until we decided to go meet James and Melissa at REI. Went to RTC and stalked Jyo. *hugs* We love Jyo. Really.

Um. Next?

We wandered REI until Icky got sick of it. lol. Um. Showed Melissa lip venom and made her kiss James. Weehhee.

Labor Day Sale= Angela got 2 new Nalgene's, for $10.

After that we went to Target. I stumbled across jeans I liked for half the cost I normally pay for the ones I'm obsessed with an order online. So, I bought jeans, feeling slightly happy not to have paid an arm and a leg for them. YEAY! And they're more comfy, cuter, and black. Stretch jeans rock. Jeah.

Saw my mom and sister while checking out at Target. ICky got some clothes too! yeay.

THEN we decided to go to Denny's with Melissa and James. That was a laugh and a half. We spent the time talking and trying to embarrass James with all manner of sexual things. Hahah. we're mean.

So much more to that; but we'll just leave it AT that.

SOOOOO onwards to Saturday. We had stayed up until 3AM... knowing we'd need to be awake by 8ish and get to Crossroads by 9. We were 10-15 minutes late and also had to grab food. Oopsh.
It worked out in the end anyway. We drove up to Baring/Goldbar/Index area. Passed through Sultan, resulting in actually--- a little bit of nostalgia. INstead of loathing the place like I once did... I felt this sense of longing. It wasn't even about Sultan; but perhaps the last few years of fading childhood I experienced there. It seems it all left so quickly and without me even noticing!!

So we drove around for entirely too long; I talked lots... we met Energie's friend Mike... he was cool.

Um... at long last we got on the trail; wandered and it kicked ass, even though it was an easy trail. Seems Energie hikes my pace. Icky felt unsocial part of the time; but for the most part, it seemed to be fun for her too.

I had a good time, because unlike most times I hike... we stopped and enjoyed the scenery. I tend to get into the "must go must go," mindset, and won't stop for much of anything except for a drink, and a 2 second chance to let my breath slow. And when I reach my destination? Generally an "oh isn't that pretty... time to go back," attitude. :P

Ummm... what else what else? It was just awesome to see and hang out with Energie and see what she's been up to and where her life is going.

Can't really think of much else to say except that the scenery was pretty, Mike was an interesting addition, and I was glad to have Icky along.

Inna=cool too.

Anyway. Today.... I get to chill with Scully later. Not to mention to see Cheryl. BUt I am thrilled to chill with Scully. Been meaning to for so long and now I'm feeling rather deprived.
