Life Update
Dec. 26th, 2004 09:14 pmI hung out with Travis today, after sorting some things in my life out.
That was refreshing. I’ve missed him, and now I realize that I still do value his friendship. For a long time I had harbored so much anger towards him in regards to my at-the-time distance from Kelsi, that I vowed I didn’t care about his friendship. I just wanted things to be okay with Kelsi. The truth surfaces.
His companionship was welcome.
We went to 148th Denny’s, and they didn’t have my keys. They were someone else’s. I stared at the hottie who works there. The whole time. We kept making eye-contact. It was embarrassing!!!
But Travis told me the hottie stared at my ass on the way out. :P
It made me giggle because Kelsi told him all about my partying experience and said that “That girl could hold her liquor more than most of us.” Somehow I had some silly Scottish pride that she said that about me.
I guess I’m just silly like that. Thank you Grandma, for being from Scotland.
Today was pleasant on a whole, and it felt good to communicate with heronguy and perhaps not feel so shitty about it all. Patience is in order, and a bit of a strange-ness. But I guess I'll get over the weirdness of life when I die.
