A quickie

It has snowed and luckily I came home early enough today rather than visit with mom. So the snow is giving me zero inconvenience tomorrow.

Tonight was pleasant. Came home, hung out - turned on the heater, read some, the snow came, I walked to Fred Meyer to watch the idiots try to drive. Took some snapshots of the snow just for fun. Got some coffee, walked back. Watched people driving in the mess more.

Came back, tortured my doggies by making them go in the yard.
I like to watch them frolick. They are in massive dislike of the cold snow. Fritz has never seen snow and Rufus is old enough to know the drill. He despises the cold.

So, maybe tomorrow I'll post some silly snapshots I took.
I wish when I went out for my walk I had taken my big camera on not my crappy camera phone. And yet, it was snowing so hard for a while in Issy that it would not have been good for the camera.

:/

I bought a new hat for this type of weather. In my aging process I find I am less prone to "endure," the elements, even if I can.
It's nice to have things to stay warm with. This is something I decided within the last year.

It's been good tonight to be in my own dwelling.
After a long stint at the boyfriend's, I am happy here.
Although I wanted to play WoW with him tonight he was doing homework like a good lad.

I had fun watching a couple of movies with him this weekend. Gladiator and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

I think the dude who played Gladiator is hot.

It's still snowing some. Hm.
I want to make a snowpenis now because I read about it on obake's journal.

YEAY SNOWPENIS time!!!
Nevermind.

Much to post and I may or may not get a chance to.
W00t. And here's to my job. I'll be going back to work bright and early tomorrow.

I'm actually feeling ready. Even if I know the mobile data terms will be a mess. Blah. Seriously, I can be GREAT at my job. So tomorrow is the time to remember this. Time to get all over these pieces of shit like white on rice.

The quiet blanket of snow covers the grounds.
Most times I am pretty bah-humbug about snow.
I grumble about how people get all out of whack.
That there is a lot of whining and complaining and talk of it.
And yet, I find it is almost impossible not to mention it in LJ at all, and I am sure most of my friends list will follow in suit with this trend.

My first day back at the office after a hefty break.
I did nothing of real interest on vacation other than spend some extended time with the sweetheart.
Which was pleasant. Although I am ready for some me time in the realm of my own universe.
Walking across the street proved to be a comfortable enough commute.
I was in before any of my officemates. PC Tim came in shortly after - a bit late. He lives in Bellevue.
We went and got coffee. I got an extra large because instead of our routine Market trip, we went to the gas station.
They have bigger coffees.

My stomach has been a bit off this morning, but other than that I am ready to start my week and stuff.
Blarhg.

7PM-8PM we had an influx of snow. This was when Issy got all of its snow.
I have a few pictures just for shits and giggles.

Under the cut. Not that you didn't see it already. )

I hate watching friends do stupid things.
Mel got back with Ryland. I am bummed out.
She is trying it again without Ryan in the picture.
This sucks.
Not that I don't think her and Ryan don't need space. They do.
But, Ryland is just.

Well. We all have to make our own mistakes.
And as I told her:
"Honestly. We do what we do and if we feel it is right then we've got something to learn from it regardless of whether it works or fails. And nobody can ever tell us when that is right or if it is or isn't."

*siiiiiiiiiighsss*
I know this is true. But just for my own sanity, I want to scream at her, "NO! NO! NO! This is all wrong. He is SO nowhere near good enough for you, girl."

:/

But it isn't my call to make. Just like nobody could have told me that giving it the ole shot #2 with Khaya wasn't the best either. And I had a lot to learn from it. No one can tell you these things.
