Speaking of my close friends from way back.
The two core ladies that have been with me through thick and thin... came over and made dinner.
Well, it was their choice to. And today I was greeted with the caked-on fun of chili remains.
And then I was reminded of Kelsi's refreshingly ... uh.. who knows what comment:
"I'm not going to feel bad. You have a dishwasher now." As for dirtying plates. Well, it wasn't that the plates were dirtied. It's that no one rinsed out their shit. I forgot that just because I do common courtesies, not everyone does. My bad.
Damnit. Oh well. I rinsed and scrubbed the caked on ex-chili... and loaded the rest of the dishwasher after washing some stuff by hand.
Thanks ladies. Thanks.
*Takes a chill pill and rolls her eyes*
Thank goodness for my new portable dishwasher. I love that thing. Island cutting board usage and dish washing!!!!
Now I am going to go for a lunchtime run. And I must remember that tomorrow is for rest! No running! Not-ta! Because Sunday is the 5K. Hello whole wheat pasta Saturday night! I gotta have fuel for the road, yo!
