Monday Morning

I slept in and enjoyed some rest and a good book for a while.
After convincing myself to get a move on, Fritz and I hiked Tiger again. I'm quite feeling well after that. [I figured I needed to burn off some of that alcohol I had on Saturday.]

I miss Khaya.
The weekend was pleasant and eventful, yet it wasn't quite as comfy as it is when I have him by my side.
I feel like writing, though I know I'll be calling my mom after I take my shower.
I miss her and didn't spend last weekend with her due to pup-sitting Gus.
This weekend I haven't seen her either.

Ah, well. Must re-pot some more plants and clean at least 30 minutes today.
I cleaned the place before my get together Saturday....
and it looked great and still does.
Kelsi suggested I just clean a bit more each day even though I already did.
And that way when Khaya gets back I won't feel like the slob that I really am.

Ah!
Perhaps more to come later.
Perhaps not.
Lunch was good. Yeay.

Time to go shower.

I keep trying to implement a "clean for 5 minutes every day" policy, but...I keep forgetting. It's sad, really...

I find that once I start, it's hard to keep it down to only 5 minutes...
You know?
I guess that's a good thing, depending on how much time you really have available.

Exactly! I've caught myself cleaning at midnight, thinking, "Wait, I've been doing this for 45 minutes, it was only supposed to be 5, and I need my sleep, damnit!" The only problem is that then I think the 45 minutes means I can slack off for the next 8 days, because they're covered, and then I forget to re-start after those 8 days (which, technically, I probably shouldn't have taken off anyway....).
