There was this one time, in Tye Lake Park, that we were chilling with my brother after going to the corn maze... we played on the spinny thing that goes in circles and rode on it until all of us got dizzy and had to stop. Eventually we needed to leave because kids actually needed to use it. :)

You’ve always had a steady head on your shoulders, and I feel that I should keep you around in my life for a billion reasons, though we rarely hang out. You express yourself very well, and have helped me at many of “just the right,” times.

I recall we were feeling anti-social at OLOTEAS one time, and so we hung out in the mattress room. We sat there talking and talking and laughing at stuff, and it was really amusing. You understood and described a lot of the things I was feeling, and just that level of relation really made a difference. It was weird, and funny – all at once.

We had a lot of moments in advisory at Eastlake. Those were the days. And the primary reason why I know you at all, or ever got more than 2 seconds with you, I think! I think “weird,” isn’t necessarily the word for it, though I have a distinct memory of you walking me through past life regression in the back of Ms. Fess’ room, on the floor. How awesome was that? I’m not sure if you’re still in the headspace where you believe these things anymore, though I remember the method you used still, and value it.

Date: 2005-08-03 03:12 pm (UTC)I'm not sure what my headspace is right now...some days I believe, some days I don't. I think it basically boils down to wanting to believe but also wanting some kind of physical proof--which is rather hard to provide in this circumstance. I haven't thought about that method in the longest time, though...maybe I should try it again...
As for why it's easy to talk to me: you're not the first person who's asked, and I'm not exactly sure either. I think it has something to do with how I don't really care what people do so long as it makes them happy and doesn't hurt me or anyone I like. I had one friend accuse me of not telling him what I really thought about what he was telling me because I kept saying, "Fair enough." I told him that even if he wanted to fill his bathtub with jello and let it solidify around his body, so long as he wasn't in danger of getting stuck or suffocated, it didn't really matter to me.
If I could find that underwear, I'd so buy it... ;-p
