The rest of the weekend!
Dec. 29th, 2003 12:49 pmAlright. So Sunday was the best as it could be. I slept in until 9AM, and Steve pretty much forced me to lay around with him in bed until about 11AM. At 11, I was so restless I said, "I'VE GOT TO GET OUT!" So I spent another hour or so online, and finally, around 1PM, we got dressed and went for a walk to KFC on Gilman in Issaquah. That was a lot of fun. We ate and just talked and it was really valuable to me. AND I WAS HAPPY to get exercise and just walk, and talk with my love. He generally is extremely DIFFICULT to get out of the house these days.
We also walked to this Kitchen store in Issaquah and looked around there, and then we went to Target, and Steve bought me this velvet tanktop that looks really cool. We walked back leisurely, and spent more time, just hanging out. Like old times, when our relationship was fresh and new. Comfortable, and altogether enjoyable. It was then that I realized what kind of special best friend he really is. There are times it is just hard to remember.
So we were back at home and we just lit some incense, a score of candles, and turned off the light. We also turned on our little gas flame fireplace, laid on the couch and enjoyed each other. We cuddled and just talked some more. It was relaxing. We snoozed for a couple of hours, just staring into the candles and just losing the trials of everyday.
At last, we mutually agreed to go relax on each of our computers, and I spent time updating LJ and the scores of emails I seem to be sending off these days. This was our day on Sunday.
