Do I *need* to be at my house the whole time?
There's a possibility I may have some kind of plans, though you are welcome to stay and I can provide you with a key, etc etc. Let me know if this would work. I am uncertain as to the planning that weekend, though I don't mind if you crash one way or the other.

Okay, whatever works best for you. If you just want to give us a key and not worry about it, that's totally fine with me. Just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any major conflicts.

I would say that the only times that you would need to be there would be Friday night when we arrive and possibly Sunday morning (depending on whether we can leave the key and still lock the door behind us).
