Lots of walking. MDTs are fun. REALLY.

angelakMy posts have been lacking. The snow has been interesting and beautiful. I have spent a lot of time with Steve, and this is good. The ice is everywhere. We have begun to go for walks again. When I lived in Redmond before either of us owned cars, we always walked everywhere. This was when we got to know each other and built a friendship. It was harder to just walk in Sultan. We could, but not to go anywhere. Steve is less motivated about the places in Sultan; he would rather drive to Monroe, where there is more to do.
So, Issaquah is like Redmond. There are lots of things and they are easier to walk to. So it seems he is now motivated once again to walk with me again. Anywhere. And since our onset of hiking this last year, the walks are lengthy and it is good. I’ve been lazy for 2 months now and my body is ready for this initial exercise. And it is reacting well to it. I can feel my metabolism rising, which is good. I can eat more and that’s good. On the 1st, Steve and I walked from our house to Target and Taco Del Mar. That was fun. We met my parents at Taco Del Mar and ate lunch, that was a lot of fun. We shopped at Target and went back to our house, visited with the rentz, then they went home. I didn’t want them to go.
The next day we walked to Target again. And back…. From our house. The day after that we went to Sultan, played in the snow, took the dogs for a few walks while stuck on the Sultan side of town. Pretty much, we’ve been trying to do these lengthy 2-4 one way, 4-8 mile round trip walks, almost every day possible. It’s been really good. I was going to write so much more, but right now I am focusing on working on an issue that has come up. WORK! Yes. Yeay and not so yeay. This rover laptop is NOT cooperating at all. I need to get this working. It doesn’t feel inclined to be easy today! I need to beep Kevin to tell him I will not have this ready as soon as expected, it is being stubborn with it’s malfunctioning!
Oh my gods… it connected! HAH. But Hm. I logged into the network and it doesn’t show any calls open. Hm. Just called Kevin. He will have his dispatchers open a test call for me. *CROSSES FINGERS* Uck! It just randomly disconnected. *sighs* Ah, another day! I’ll be sure to post more later.
