Thankful Thursday
Feb. 9th, 2006 08:42 amThursday Morning.
So we’ll start the entry with Thankful Thursday:
- Dogs
- Job
- Comfy Home
- Late night phone calls
- Great friends from way back
- Great new friends
- School. Even though it is annoying.
- Weird classmates that catch me off guard. “I’m in a porno…”
- Warm showers
- Sleep.
- My mommy.
- (okay, okay, my dad is cool too.)
- My new cubie walls at work.
- Shiny laptop.
- Feeling appreciated.
I feel spiffy this morning. It’s frigid-cold outside and so I got a chai tea latte. And strawberries for breakfast. Though I haven’t gotten to them yet. Too busy enjoying the latte. And if that wasn’t cool enough, the lady at the latte stand (she’s very familiar with me, as I’ve been coming to her stand periodically for the last 3-4 years) informed me that my next latte is free. (A coffee card system). Yeay. I can have yummy coffee on Friday too! I could be negative and think, “wow, I’ve already spent $24 on coffee…” except that these days (I stopped buying the lattes nearly as often) it takes longer to get to the free coffee.
And lastly, it’s just nice to feel appreciated.
That general feeling can go a long way.
