Thankful Thursday:

- People who care about me.
- Moshker for making me smile.
- SK. Cause he threw an excellent party that he invited me to.
- My dogs.
- My job.
- Strange police officers. They give depth to my days. Or at least something to talk about.
- My technological toys. These include far more than I deserve: The Ipod, The new Laptop, the slick laptop wireless mouse, my 2 cell phones... etc etc etc. Who would have thought?
- Jon is home.
- I got a higher grade than expected on the last English paper.
- TS was not mad about the audio issues.
- Having enough.
- A PART-TEY THIS WEEKEND!
- All the people who have shown enthusiam for my small party, causing me to feel warm and fuzzy inside. There were a few of you. It made me feel validated. Thanks.
- Music.
- The gym.
- Sweating.
- Someday, I won't feel so retarded.
- My vibrator. TMI? Go fuck off. Like I do.
- Driving. My car.
- Someday I will be over this head cold. And then I will like how I sound better again!
- Beer. Cause I'ma go get me some.

So..... Was it good beer, then? I admit to being a beer snob. Won't touch Budwiser, Coors, Milwaukie's Best (it isn't), etc.

I refuse to drink piss beer, also.
In fact, some lady offered us the rest of their piss-beer pitcher, and we were like, "no, thanks," and then had a 15 minute discussion on how gross and pointless piss beer is. It was Mac and Jacks last night. I like beer that has body.

Otherwise? My gods, why even bother!?!?
I have memories of being younger and stupider and drinking piss beer just because it was at a kegger once, and I thought it was real beer. And I concluded that I didn't like beer.

AND THEN? My ex and also a dear friend of mine, showed me the beauty of good beer. And life got better, and now I just like beer.

The part-tey is one I am having at my duplex on Saturday. If you're in the area, let me know. You are welcome to join in the fun.

I can send you details if you prefer. Though I don't know if you'll be up in WA/Seattle area.

That's not likely to happen this weekend, unfortunately. See my LJ post for why that's so. However, just in case I get a wild hair up my backside and think that I can make it, send details to 'wayfarer at europa dot com'. I really do think that I need to get out and party, but don't know if I'll be able to swing it. *pouty face*
