angelak | Weekend Update

Beginning the weekend update:

Friday at work proved some resolution and some major progress for the main VR issues I’ve been having. I have some parts ordered and I’ve discussed with Mac and the other vendor I am working with to get the things installed. This was a major relief.

I was glad to go home. Blake, my lawn-mower boy mowed my lawn and that was good also. It needed it. I got home, took care of some chores, and then Kelsi showed up at my house. We hung out, talked for a while. And then Mel and Ryland arrived.

We ordered some pizza and began pre-funking.
After that we went out to Seattle after determining that Jim and his crew were not going to Seattle after all.

I changed into my cute skirt and we went to the store to grab a couple of things before we headed out to Seattle. We went to some random club that had good dancing reviews online. Getting out of Ryland’s Jeep at the store was a disaster. It’s hard to get out of the back of Jeeps normally, let alone with a skirt. I was pissed off majorly because I landed on the door latch thingie (metal) on my way out and it hurt really, really badly. And for me to bitch about stuff, it REALLY has to hurt.

The peeps laughed at me. Lamers. I now have a huge gigantic bruise on my thigh. Yesterday it was really gross looking because it was also raised a little. It was that bad!!

Anyhow. I got over it after I had more to drink at the club. Ryland being the DD and having a perfect opportunity to dance. Yeay drinkin’ at the club.

Other than the one incident with 2 black guys grinding at me from each direction and Ryland needing to cockblock – things were great!

After Ryland cockblocked, I was drunk enough so that I screamed and ran to the ladies’ room after THAT experience. Hahaha. Ryland dropped us off and the next morning I hung out with Kelsi at my place for a while until she left to hang out with TJ.

I took care of some stuff around my place and then I headed out to pick up the Kirkbus girls. I got into my dress for Ruthie’s wedding and we headed out to Arlington. I was happy to see more of violindaine – and it was weekend number two in a row that I got quality time with chinchillagirl.

The wedding ceremony was soooo touching and amazing. I was very glad that this was my first wedding ceremony that I actually got to see. I’ve been to a few weddings and always missed the ceremonies. I feel blessed that I was able to get to see Ruthie and Mike get married – and she was married by one of the priestesses I admire the most.

The evening went by fast; chinchillagirl did a LOT of work with the food prep, and violindaine, herne51, and I helped a little.
Comfortable talk, great food, a gorgeous bride and equally stunning groom – great wedding.

I was only slightly frustrated about leaving later than planned because I was hoping to see Jim sooner than later and possibly beat him to his house before he got off work.
I drove kdana and Alfonzo to Everett to Jana’s party and then drove chinchillagirl home.

I took the long way.
It took me forever to get to Tacoma. I arrived in Tacoma around 1AM – after stopping by Taco Bell and grabbing the guy some nachos. Because he loves nachos.

That was okay though – Saturday night’s alright! Hung out with the guys and Jim until we went to bed. Much yeayful snuggling Sunday morning until he had to go to work.

I’ve been chilling with the guys for the day. I annoyingly left my overnight bag at home in my rush to leave after the Angela-taxi service was over. I bought another toothbrush and was excited to get cute sparkley hair bobby pins.

Sure they cost more than they needed to – but what the fuck ever.
Yeay for toothbrushes, and cool new hair stuff.

My dogs are currently very exhausted on the couch with Ernest. I am amazed at how the front door is open and my dogs have yet to honestly try and bolt and go anywhere. This is something I like.

Yeay for non-bolting dogs.
