angelak | Sleeping in!

I should soon leave for week 2 of HAM class…No lunch today as a sacrifice for this learning. But, I want this! So. A few minute entry will be okay… right? Anyway. What else can I say briefly? I was stupid, slept in way too long Monday on my day off that Monday night, when I normally go to bed, I was wide awake and could not sleep at bedtime. In hopes I could sleepify myself with reading… I ended up making a folly mistake. [Anne Rice, Merrick, GREAT book…] Instead of getting sleepy, I just got into the book, [I was halfway through it] and I finished the book, instead of going to sleep. I finished at 2:15 AM… [I have to get up at 5 to get to work…] So, I DID wake upon my alarm’s first warning, but I always hit snooze once or twice. I hit snooze once, and woke up at 6:45… in consciousness that I was supposed to be rolling into work about this time!!!! [7:00 is my start hour]… sooo.. I rushed and luckily having showered the night before, put on my makeup and grabbed my Nextel, letting my dog out and feeding him… I was out the door. I beeped Tim at his Nextel to tell him I would arrive at 8. He answered, “have a nice drive,” know that I was up to an hour drive to get there. Oh well, an hour of vacation time I guess I will take. That was my morning. BUT THE BOOK WAS SO DAMNED GOOD I could NOT put it down. Loved it. And I don’t read nearly as much as I used to… and quite frankly, next to writing, reading… is .. one of my favorite things. Anyway. I REALLY need to be driving to the PWO shop right now. So off I go, I can only hope I will sum the weekend up later!
