Saturday morning stuffs
Sep. 30th, 2006 01:27 pmLast night was a lovely dinner with Kelsi at Circa. I was going to see Evan, except he didn't want to drive out to Seattle. (His car apparently has been stalling while he was driving it - he didn't want to go across the bridge. Okay, okay, I can see that.)
Had a good few our chat over dinner. I had some tasty wine.
Walked back to her house in a happy-wine-glow.
It was good wine.
I guess I had never told her the story of the night I met Jim. heh.
I guess it was during the period of time it was hard to get to people to blabber to them.
Anyhow. Went home and logged onto WoW. Not to play. Talked to Jim before bed. I'm glad I did.
Went to bed content.
Slept the hell in.
Got up, have been putzing around the house. It's been nice.
I finally got up some courage to look at my scale. I think it's been 2-3 weeks or so since my goal of losing 10 lbs. I lost 3. I guess that's better than none - leveling at 167. I'm still annoyed with it - which means I'll have to continue to stop being lazy. READ: EXERCISE when I get the chance instead of "something else." I know I could have done it by now - although I do realize the eveningtimes/weekends were not spent exercising like I had hoped. So far I have just slimmed down my food intake ever so slightly.
(Don't forget alcohol is no help here.) But I miss my wine-frenzy! lol.
I'll be fine once I hit anything below 165. 160 is my ideal.
Regardless I know I still appear fine, regardless it isn't that bad.
It's merely that I've been known to keep my favorite weight for months and months at a time. I have to get back there before the holiday season. Just cause.
Well, I suppose it isn't as bad as I make it out to be.
Probably drives people NUTS to hear about it.
What matters is that I know what will keep me at my healthiest.
Anyhow. I'm off. On the agenda today:
1- Hike Tiger.
2- Drive to Olympus Spa in Lynnwood.
3- Come home after hours of relaxation
4- Not hurry away from the home.
5- Drive to Tacoma to spend the night with Jim.
and I would like to announce that my dog (Fritz) is being adorable.
