Another morning in paradise

angelakOooh man. PMS doesn't hit me with cramps, 93% of the time - it hits me with serious lower back pain.
Today... MS (nothing pre about it) I am having some killer back pain instead.

In other exciting news, I should make a couple of doctor's apointments seeing as the end of the year is drawing on and I have procrastinated yet another year.
Jim called me up about our costumes. We're dressing up this year. He's going to be a doctor and I'm going to be a nurse. He seems terribly conflicted with the idea of me in a nurse outfit. heh. Poor, poor Jim.
So much so that he got out of class early because his instructor was sick - and felt inclined to go shopping for our outfits. I couldn't help but have some moment of, "wow - yeah, he's awesome," because I may have continued to procrastinate, or maybe not - but there's just something instrinsically couple-ish about that. Maybe I'm just silly, but it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside :P
Naturally he asked before he did this to make sure I didn't have any specific plan in mind or some such.
I'm going to try it on Thursday after rehearsal. Make sure the sizing is correct.
Last night was fun. I was going to go swimming - although instead I fell asleep for a few hours. Oops.
Beer with Evan did ensue there-after.
Very BRIEF beer. Our usual bar in Redmond closes at 11 on Tuesday - and normally we go on Wednesday or Thursday I guess, because it closes at 1AM then. The guy who was bartending was a condescending bastard to us in general when we didn't realize one part of the bar seating was closed.
And it didn't help that Evan spilled some beer - which we were going to clean up, but the guy rudely took the rags away before we could finish up. We were trying to talk to him and he literally walked away and didn't care to hear a word we had to say (which had to do with, "we weren't done with those rags")...
So we only split a pitcher and then left disappointed because he was an asshole.
Hope he enjoyed his .55 tip.
I've been a waitress before and I cannot imagine walking AWAY while your customers are trying to talk to you.
Wow.
Then we stopped by Red Robin where we always go when we're healthily buzzed to sober up before our drive home. Turns out from now on they close at 10PM. That idea was out, and now we've got to find a solution for our sobering-up/food plan after beers.
WTF?
We drove to Kirkland where we found Pegasus pizza. We ordered some pasta and salad to go because the restruant was closed. The bar, however - was open. ALSO kareoke night. I heard a drunk man's rendition of "Baby one more time," but Britney Spears, and it indeed was funny as hell! We should have stayed there to eat, instead we assumed they have us utensils and drove down to the water front to realize that they did not. First we started eating with our breadsticks, and then ran out of breadsticks for our pasta.
We drove to Safeway to get forks. And ate the rest in the Safeway parking lot. At last, I went home and txted Jim on my drive home. He called me and I went "eeee yeay," and answered my phone and talked to him until I fell into a comfortable sleep. And the next morning came.
