Thankful Thursday and other stuff!

angelakThe days pass and the months slide by. I could swear it was November just yesterday. And it comes again. It has almost been a year since I visited Oahu. Life is entirely different and entirely better.
It amazes me where I am. It feels far more realistic. I feel like I’m keyed in to what parts of my life I should be. No one is holding me back or telling me where I should go next. I am trusted, happy, and for the most part – balanced.
So, here I am. A year away from November 2005.
A year away from tension, distress, misguidance. Aversion.
And this weekend marks six months with one of the most incredible men that I’ve been blessed to spend time with and build a relationship with. Six months has yet to pass into a “long term relationship,” in my eyes – and yet there is something oddly significant about this to me anyway. I have had very little conflict and I feel like he is someone I could learn to grow with and vise-versa. Wouldn’t that be nice? Things go how things go. I feel like regardless, he is just the person who I am supposed to share a partnership with right now. And it is fabulous.
This morning I braved my scale. I have now entered the “acceptable,” weight range for me. 165 lbs, I have officially lost 5 and have 5 more to go. Supposing things go as they are, this should not be too hard. I already knew I was entering this area because of the way my clothes fit. I’m happy again with myself.
I am level 23 in WoW. I do not care if I level slower than most of the universe. Muahaha. Mostly because I do not play as much as some.
Besides, I’m getting better at video games in general. I am your typical kindergartener at the controllers. Except I can type 3290582093570267 wpm.
Friday is coming. It turns out I will be able to go to Dana’s party! And Jim is coming too! Yeay!!! After he gets off work, likely we’ll show around 11 or so.
This means I might even decide to go swimming beforehand! Awesome! Who could ask for anything more?
He is staying Saturday – and perhaps even coming to “Descent of Inanna,” which would be awesome. He has never been to a ritual, or seen a ritual performance. This being said – what a better way to break him in than this particular instance.
Needless to say, in another week or so I am going on our super-fun trip to Vancouver. I am excited!!!
