Pearl Harbor

It's been over a year since I visited Pearl Harbor.
It's weird to think back to that trip.

This post is in rememberence of Pearl Harbor Day itself...

*siiiighs* Hawaii is a really neat place. Regardless.
I have a lot of good memories - it just feels odd to think back.
Nostalgic? But not in a way that makes me want to go back in time. Nostalgic in a way that makes me glad I did it. No matter how tight the rope of our relationship was.

And?

I remember that at the monument, it was so beautiful, the water and the ruins, but it was so *sad*. An almost tangible emotion.
