angelakI just fondled $1200 cash today, which was mine. I then went to the bank [with my mom who fondled my money more than I got to,] and paid off the rest of my Camaro for a sum total of $2178.75 today. [I've been paying small monthly payments and saving up to pay it off...]
Soooo, I spent 1200 in cash and wrote a $978.75 check [from my other bank account...].
So. The car is entirely mine. NOT ONLY THAT... but I have also been blessed with repairs [and the labors of my brother and his good classmate and friend from LWTC] have been doing a look over of my car officially for school. They have found problems and been fixing them [as I bought parts], and now my car is beginning to drive like a totally different vehicle. I'm so glad for this. The break job on the rear breaks was a total safety hazard and now that they are fixed properly, they're not MUSHY at all. I'm so glad. We also found out I have rear air shocks that weren't inflated all the way. THIS is something that's kind of cool. They did an air filter mod [really simple but it makes my car sound totally better...] Ummm... I found out I need a new U joint on my drive line, and that along with new bushings for my steering... the car will be up to par, until someday I replace the engine entirely [when I get lotsa money and I can put a brand new V8 in there..... like an LS1 or something, I donno. I'll have to think about that. I watch him drive away my car and I feel this new connection to it. It's so beautiful and it's engine is musical to my ears. I could listen to it and watch it forever. And I love driving it... but I can't wait to fix that damned steering!
NOW IT Doesn't shift till it is 500 rpms from redline. That's waaaay better. Way more freeway power. I'm thrilled. Oh yes. I forgot, the knock[sp?] sensor was not functional AT all... and the EGR valve needed cleaned because it was clogged. OH SO HAPPY that the SES light hasn't come on yet! SO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAPPY! Need to get those boys lunch when I can get around to affording it. THANKS TO JAMES' unmentioned friend who won't read this, and JAMES. JAMES AKA GRANDFATHER IS THE BeST BROTHER EVER. YEAY FOR my happy little frivolous joy Camaro. It's my friend. I LOVE TEAL! I cannot wait to fix that damned steering *REPEATS* :d I'm done for now. YEAY for my car yeay for MY car it's alllll mine.
