I'd provide some snap shots.
I completely and utterly never filled anyone in on my Yule fun.
But for my own sanity I'll post a few photos of a couple of things.



This is my new quilt that mom made me. This is (albeit it's a little dark in the photo) how great it looks. Note the new map I found at Half Price books in a really cool map set that has 15 regional maps, plus one that is the entire US.

Perfect for what I want. As I begin traversing the US, I'd like to be able to get a better visual (as I'm a very visual person and learner) to get better perspective on my travels.

Even if airplane flights are pretty good perspective in and of themselves, you can't really see the ground comparitively beneath you.


My sister gave me this. She did this - it's a print actually of a Jill-original, but it's still awesome. It is a dragonfly.


Jim's latest customized ... bumper sticker. Army is... as army does.


My mom and dad got us gift cards for the dogs! I went crazy in PetSmart and bought Rufus and Fritz lots of new toys and they loved them. As well as some goodies.
It was a lot of fun. Here's Rufus attacking his new "bobo" toy.

What is Bobo exactly, an earthworm or something? I don't know if getting new toys for our pets is more of a present for us or them. Seeing a kitten attack a ball on a spring that continually bounces back and bonks him on the head is priceless.
