Fending off the evil demon of hunger!!! One day at a time!
Persistent mother-fucker.
The discovery of boiled eggs perfectly packaged in a conveniently transportable hard-shell - has aided me in the task of banishing the hunger demon.

AND I MANAGED TO BOIL THEM ALL BY MYSELF PROPERLY.
I realize a lot of you are not by any scale inept at cooking:
I assure you, I struggle in the utmost fashion in this endeavor.
It also pains me to say that my sweetie also struggles with the same exact... issue.
We're both challenged, although we CAN do it.

What that means is, mundane things like boiling eggs and the like become huge ordeals.
I got it right and didn't waste my eggs. I cannot inform you how much of a relief that is!!!

So: hip hip to the low-cal, satisfying (especially when I over-salt them) - solution of hard-boiled eggness.
I think I can incorporate this as a regular mid-morning snack item. I need to keep a list of things that "work."

You know. The personalized "ME" options that are great and healthy and effective.
At. Fending off the evil demon of hunger!!!

I must also add that they are not costly. This is also of importance when choosing what snacks to keep on hand for hungry days. I spend too much on visits to the market in hunger when I have nothing available AT THE DESK ahead of time when I hit that blood sugar low and hunger high. (ugh low blood sugar). The more I exercise - the more this becomes an issue.

I win. And no my icon has nothing to do with food. Or does it?

-Angela

PS- Note to self: 10 minutes or so boiled. Boil from cold to warm with eggs in water. Cracks and makes disgusting mess otherwise.

I've found that drinking juice (keeps up the blood sugar but isn't too high-cal), and munching on veggies (perhaps with some low/none-fat dip) is actually a good way to keep me feeling full.

I guess my problem is more of quenching the sugar/fat cravings.... Sometimes they can be so overwhelming. =/
