So, I strained my back pretty bad on Saturday morning. damnit.
I decided to go to both conventional and acupuncture doctors. I have an apt for Saturday with my A-Doctor. acupuncture is too long to write.
The conventional Doc gave me muscle relaxants.
Otherwise known as (for those who I know like to have this info) Cyclobenzaprine. Generic for Flexeril.
I took my first, as suggested last night before bed. Yikes. I slept in and when trying to call in late, fell asleep again. The co worker who is not my favorite - is not here.
She is in charge till our boss is left.
She is doing her over-controlling bit like the usual.
Damn, I hate that. I came in and there was an issue of scheduling orientations with people.
I was irritated immediately (she already irritates me, so... what I later read about my drugs is... that... side effects can be such.)
Tim saved me. "I will go take the envelopes over so you don't blow up on them."
Thank goodness. I wasn't in danger of blowing up on THEM, however, I don't want to blow up about the unmentionable employee who regularly pisses me off.
That? Not cool. I don't even know why I'm in the office today. I just realized I can't drive, and in order to do those work orders on my list... I need to drive. Damn.
I feel bad that Tim is needing to do some of my work at the second, but he said he understood.
The good news is I think Advil and this Cyclo may be making things less painful indeed.
I am || close to going home and sleeping. For the rest of the day.

Date: 2007-05-02 07:40 pm (UTC)Ah, the memories...
One Flexeril used to be able to knock me out for about two day; now I've built up such a tolerance, that they don't do anything in the way of side-effects anymore.
Ahh
