Weekend Update
May. 22nd, 2007 12:50 pmI’m a little tired today.
Not much, just a little…
Been a busy weekend – I did ehhh okay on my eating choices. Not the best, but whenever I am not at home, it makes something that feels ordinarily easy (eating healthily) into something that requires more effort.
I still need to do a quick shopping run, maybe on lunch hour?
The boss is back in the office. It’s nice.
The new guy starts next week – Tuesday and not this week. Oops!
Thought it was going to be today.
2AM sex is great except looking at the clock thinking that 2 more hours of sleep sucks.
Made it to work on time.
No one was here other than me for the first 2 hours I was here.
Julie is in training and the Tim’s decided to arrive late.
Friday. What did I do on Friday? I took and nap and went for a run and then went to bed.
Saturday I hung out with Kelsi and Shane and watched Shrek 3, and then went out with Kelsi and her friend Danielle and Danielle’s friend. Danielle’s little brother who goes to U of I (Illinois) was super cute.
Danielle was really nice and I had a good time, although I drank more than I wanted and also accidentally got more drunk than planned. (Okay, I’m a lightweight now and I didn’t used to be!)
I have a new favorite drink: Lemonaide and Blueberry Stolli Vodka. Zomgs?!
I had 3 of these, a red-headed slut with Kelsi, and an orange margarita that was to kill for. (The bartender was REALLY good.)
Way more than I wanted – I was thinking 2-3 drinks tops. I was safely transported but caloric-cally speaking… ehhh. It was fun though. We stayed out later than planned as well. I drove Kelsi home (after sobering) and then drove myself back home. (She lives in Bothell now.)
It was 3AM when I got to bed. I needed to be up at 9AM to go to the street festival with Kelsi and her siblings. (Lori and Christy – Christy is in town from Idaho visiting!) Christy is Kelsi’s older sister who is closer to us in age. Lori is in her mid-30’s. We went with Shane and Kelsi, even though Kelsi woke up late (heh, I arrived and visited with Christy, Lori, and Kevin – Lori’s husband.) while waiting for Kelsi.
Kelsi arrived and we went to the street fair in the rain and had a good time. I bought honey sticks. Had a healthy chicken sausage sandwich for lunch and after we walked around a ton (ran into Inna randomly) we eventually ended up back at Lori’s – until we decided to go to Cuicina Cuicina in Issaquah because Kelsi got a gift card from her closing office (shutting down her call center). So she shared it with Shane, Christy, and I. We had a $76 meal for $26. Then I went home, got my boys after letting them out and getting my house in order. I headed to Tacoma and visited with Jim. I was full and tired from a busy weekend and a busy day. He had lots of homework. We pretty much made love because we’re whores and then I slept and he did homework for the remainder of the evening. He came to bed at 3AM after doing his homework.
Woke up Monday, Jim started doing more homework and I picked us up some subway sandwiches while he watched the boys and did more homework. Then he went to class, I went running, he came home, we showered (and stuff?) and then headed out to Lynnwood to visit my mom. We went out for dinner (ack, Arby’s… I didn’t make the best food choices, but I went running and had eaten a modest lunch) had a good time, went to PetSmart (I was out of dog food at home) and then went and saw my sister do a Drama on Ice “Cat in the Hat” Suess thing. After this we went to the Well in Lynnwood, I filled my container of water for my fridge and then dropped mom off.
We drove home and went to Fred Meyers. Picked up a snack and then we went home and Jim started cleaning his room. I went to bed. Up for work 5AM.
Drove home, showered, and began my work week.
Here I am.

Good luck on the food thing. I know how hard that one can be.
Yeah!
