It’s my goal to get a little more acquainted with LJ again.
I’ve been just really disconnected from it lately. I haven’t been reading the posts that were posted by friends, I barely write anything myself.

Sometimes we just go through these periods of time.
For me, I hate it when it happens. I like to read the scores of things and use it as a technique to stay connected. And I like to use my as an archive.

So to those who extended invites that I just did not read in time… awww drats! I’m sorry.
Also to my quietness to the people I religiously read… sorry as well. Been dropping and lurking only on select days for shorter periods of time. I’m coming back to try and be more religious, but for a while I realized I was a bit too obsessed.

More updates. I’m afraid of the city backing out on move-date they’ve given me #2. (August 1, Lughnasadh, my sexy-fella’s 25th birfday…) We’ll see. Crossing my fingers.
The ex bought a huge house in Kirkland and is planning on renting out the condo he owns. His didn’t do it all on his own. Negates part of it’s specialness to me. I’m one of those “earn it yourself-ers…” I guess.

Anyway. I’m happy for him but it is also a little sickening. *shrugs* He’ll have his half a million dollar house. Good for you pal.
Whatev.

Ummm, let’s see. Went wine tasting with Kelsi, Shane, Simon, Jim, and Meigon last weekend. We pretty much had a blast. Although mental note to self: they planned 2 wineries and a brewery. I would have been fine with the 2 wineries, and jeah. Nuff said. We got a bit tossed.

There were cuter, less tossed photos that Meigon took but I haven’t got them. These came from Jim’s camera:

The day was pretty much one of the better days possible. We bought some good wines for special occasions (I bought one and Jim bought a bottle).

YES, and my one and only miser spent $30 for a bottle of wine. I am so proud of him. We will be drinking that on his birfday with a special dinner. Can’t wait.

What could be better – ?
We’ve been working on negotiations about WoW and working stuff out. He has surpassed my expectations with his willingness to work it out and listen and even handle me when I’m at my worst.

He isn’t going annnyyyyywhere. This is so lovely.

So, we spent a lot of time together on the weekend – to kick off his lack of drill (his 21 day stint yeah). It obviously could have been worse (say like out of the country and for a year) but no amount of time away is welcome ;)

So we kicked off the weekend with tons of fun. And we had a blast on the 4th. And I should leave work to go enjoy some pretty sunshine. But I have to take it easy. I barely strained my right foot again. I did a ton of walking yesterday and then decided to do more walking while drunk in shoes that aren’t the most supportive. I will not be making that mistake again – I hope by end of day tomorrow I will be healed enough to run/hike. (Running I guess, because I am going to Rite of Venus.)

Anyway, some good plans this weekend.
