I don't know.
Sometimes I should probably inform people when I am honestly just signing on IM to check in with mom before I rush out the door to head to her place.

On second thought, Also...
I have very little patience for conversations when I am on my way somewhere else. Especially if you happen to be verbose. Especially on 2 hours sleep the night before - particularly the kind of night's sleep that involves puking every hour. My bad. My bad.

I got an email that is really too much to sift through.

I can't respond or really talk about this particularly delicate business (or stuff that threatens to cause me to lose my patience) until I think through this. Or else I'll appear as immature as I really am.

Damn. Funny when you're sick how little you care about a lot of things.
Good thing I am not sick today. And I had an AWESOME run. I love improving my time. Love it love it love it! *shrugs*

I have my IM set to have me as invisible when I sign in. I then change my stealth settings for folks I want/need to talk to (which is really rare btw, as I hate IM) so I am not bombarded by people wanting to tell me all about their day and issues. I normally don't have time to talk very long so I limit it by just not being visible.
