angelakYesterday was pretty much so busy that I did not have time to take lunch until around 4:30, and I got into the office around 7AM.
Suckage.
I was just busy beyond belief and not too happy about a few things. Maintenance wants to go into my house for half a day to "measure," so they can make "Drawings," of my unit. They're also measuring things outside, too. I'm a bit unsure of what they really want, but it doesn't do much for my confidence the way these people have treated me in the last 4 months.
I lived in Side B for 4 years with minimal inference. Now I just feel like there's got to be some personal vendetta against me because I tried to get usage of the driveway to the house. It stresses me out, regardless. Do I really want them in my house for "half a day," measuring and doing god'knows'what??? I don't have much of a choice. What can I do? He says he wants to do it between Christmas and New Years.
It isn't one of the dudes I particularly like or trust either. Plain out annoying.
It makes me really want to get a place of my own, but as I explore that route it just seems scary.
I hate renting from teh Quah, but if move anywhere else it will probably cost me scads anyway. I don't really know what to do.
So far we're going to stay put until something drastic like they raise the rent to more than it's worth, happens.
Hey - maybe they really are "updating drawings,"... but most people making drawings must have more plans to raise rent eventually I am sure. Blarg. That made my yesterday just a little more bitter.
I went to the gym with Steve and that was good though. Better end to a lousy day.
