Better Morning

angelakI got up at 5AM again; I wanted that hour on the elliptical.
I did 52 minutes on the elliptical, when something inside me snapped. I wanted 10 minutes on the treadmill running. I felt I'd earned it, by using the e machine for 52 minutes.
Today is another Physical Therapy appointment, so this should be good. Hopefully the actual therapist will be there. That way...
She can see me run and let me know whether the mild pronation still happens in my running gait. And then I can see if treadmill running is OK and all that. And then we'll talk about the questions I had - that were hard to discuss with the assistants.
I iced my knee and did my exercises (okay, ALMOST all of them) in the morning. I iced my knee on the drive in, but it would appear the ice pack slipped and freeze burned a part of my leg. Whatever. I wanted my knee iced and it got its full run of ice. And Aleve (to help counter act my 10 minute jaunt.) That and the imflammation is all that causes the pain, and lately I have had no pain (ESPECIALLY since I took up the elliptical. It seems less harsh than even swimming laps).
Went home. Did some PT exercises. Showered. And left. Tim was whining when I took the city van... but I only did this because I saw him do it once with a training class. And I didn't feel like dealing with gas in my own vehicle. He mumbled something about the bus - but let's be honest here. I have a 5PM Sharp appointment and I need to be home around 4:30. I don't want to be cutting it close getting super confused by buses. That and I hadn't thought of it, but today it wouldn't have worked either way.

And Friday is my other PT appointment that was set for 5PM. Soooo, jeah.
Last night we watched an episode of "Dead Like Me." I was less angry at Jim and he was being more agreeable all around. Everything.
