A sea of life
Jul. 31st, 2008 08:05 amA sea of life. That is what I am in. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't learn lessons fully enough - and that is why the universe continually has been teaching me, by - of course, keeping me from my old routines. Showing me not to be arrogant, not to be an asshole, not to get absorbed in my own dealings and my own goals and aspirations.
Maybe that is the reason I am here. Still learning. About what it's like to be in the recovery seat from injury - and the not-so-lean seat, after having achieved the leanest me ever in the last year.
This is a lot of learning in a year. Learning that I can be better than I thought I could. And then learning that I can be lesser than that and my world still rolls on. Damnit! Learning, learning, learning! All in such a short time frame.
