2 other things:

Of course if it does provide any sort of struggle (which generally when I refer to it kicking my ass, it means the 90 minutes is less of a even flow, and I have to demand more focus out of myself, or I am really just not hitting the poses and sticking them) it does mean you're working through stuff that otherwise, you'd never have worked through as thoroughly because you would have just went about your day. Good point.

I think the next time my class is kicking my ass, I'll remember that actually - it's a really positive thing instead.

Thanks for that mental shift, it might help me power through the tough ones.

Yoga and sleep

To be honest - I've never felt exhausted after a Yoga session. It has regularly changed my sleep habits so that I rarely want to sleep as much as I once did.
It really does "revitalize" me and energize me. For whatever reason, most times. I find I go to bed instead of at 10 or 11, at 12 or 1, with no real deficit to my actual "next day tired" factor.

Funny, it's an entirely different animal for each of us.
