Whelps.
That class was dandy. I was indeed struggling...
The standing poses gave me light headed ness along with - I can't even stand up without falling over. I did nearly fall over when trying to do tree. The mind-body connection was very wonky.
Wow. Linda noticed and commented after class. She said something like, "normally your practice is very strong. I could tell something was off tonight so I figured not to push you (because you looked like you knew what you were doing)."
True. Very true. I knew I was off my game and not to push myself too hard when I've been all over the board lately!
Probably for the best. I've been sensitive the last couple of days, and with the light headedness, it made it really hard for me to excel in the standing. Floor I did great.
After my moodiness the last few days, I was not surprised.
I took a long post-yoga savasana (I force myself to when things are all messed up in my emotions) and I DO feel more balanced and better. Tomorrow should be better.
I have had very healthy, non-shitty meals today too. I will keep this up. I am hoping with the double whammy of better foods in my system, good Yoga working to balance those damn hormones, and perhaps a pound or two off my hips, I'll be in much better mental shape probably by end of week.
