It’s another day.
Our washer is broken, I think. That totally blows. I wondered if it would break on us. It never sounded in great condition, even when we moved in. I wonder if they’ll replace it, or we’ll have to get our own? I should ask, but I’m afraid to ask and have them come in to look at it. I have clothes all over the top of it that I washed previously. I want to get those taken care of before I ask about it.
We’ll take care of it tonight, Steve and I. He FINALLY mowed both lawns. Yes. It looks decent at last. We actually did EQUAL chores last evening. Our agreement these days is to block off an hour or two on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In a way, this totally sucks, but then again, in a way, it’s really cool. We’ll see how it works. Steve then wants to spend those evenings together after we do our shit. That leaves my non-Steve days to be Monday-Fridays, as we like to spend Wednesday evenings after coffee together.
That’s alright. And weekends, who knows. It’s a tough thing, because summertime is now my chance to really get hiking, but this summer is harder than last. I actually have a lot of involvements that I didn’t have last summer. That’s okay. I NEED to hike, or I’ll get out of shape, and that’s a priority of mine as well.
I told Paul from back in the day I was poly. He was a little weirded out.
Hm. Steve and I got along last evening, and it was nice. He made apple crumble, and it was good. Day 2 of getting along. We’re going camping this weekend, that’s great. I’m feeling not so skinny lately, because I haven’t been exercising as religiously as I was before we went on vacation. Tues/Thurs WERE going to be afternoon hiking days, a month or two back. We’re lousy. In fact, I used to swim 2-4 times a week. Now I’m becoming too involved with my paganism to really support that. I will have to work it out. Challenge to fit all of my priorities in. Jeez…
I just got an e-mail from Lianna. I like that. So damned hard to articulate everything to her! UGH. I wonder if she’ll ever live nearby me again. :X
