Random Statement

My boss made an offhand comment about my 2nd car again. I know he means no harm, but it gets old. So I told him this:

“Jeah. I got it originally because my mom’s car got repossessed, so I got it so she could drive it. Then I moved away and she got another car that’s her own and can’t get repossessed. That’s why I got it.”

Hopefully he won’t hazard to comment again.

It's no big deal to have a second car. I think it's awesome, basically you have a back up!

They aren't really snide... but it's just suggestive enough to get on my nerves.

But jeah. I know it's awesome. But at the same time I'm dumb and feel weird about it. I guess it's because I've never been in the position to HAVE any necessity like that--- so it feels totally weird to be there. :)
