Jennymarie Graduates!
Jun. 18th, 2004 07:32 amI hope this day goes quickly.
I got home at 2AM last night.
I went to Jennymarie’s graduation, and I was TOTALLY glad to be there... but then afterwards we went out to celebrate kind of. I hadn’t intended on staying out so late. We headed to Seattle initially – because Jenny wanted to. It was her night, so I figured sure. Except we had no idea where we were going. We wanted food.
Me, directions, talking to longtime friends aimlessly, and driving in not the most familiar area, at anytime past 11PM on a work night, is just not advised. We pretty much drove in circles for an hour [albeit the lightening was beautiful and we got to watch the storm for quite a while, with a nice view. It was so very beautiful.
Though, I got tired at some point. Jenny and I talked and talked. It’s weird that she’s more into new age than I thought. It’s also good to hear she’s loosened up sexually. I had no idea.
It seems she’s not so deadest Christian, like I always remember her being. It was refreshing. I like this new side of her. We agreed since she lives so close, we need to hang out more. I could dig that.
Anyway. Quick briefing--after striking out and showing up 10 minutes before closing at TGIF... we then tried Denny's in Bellevue 148th.
There was where we made fun of these skanky girls who were standing outside the window of Denny's close to where we were... and watched the lightening until it poured. That was cool. The rain seemed so very awesome. Then I drove them all home, and Peggy left her wallet in my car. More Lianna this weekend, I didn't get to talk to her nearly as much as I would have liked... and it felt like she was not in the happiest of moods, despite the fact she said she was fine. Maybe the next visit will be cheerier with her, if nothing else :D
So anyway. I’m here at work. I’m ready for some coffee. Bigtime. But I thought I’d get a whiney post about sleep out of the way. I used to live on this amount of sleep all the time—and it’s really not that bad. But I worried about it more than I needed to last night.
More later.
