Last minute post!
Jul. 30th, 2004 05:11 pmYesterday I saw James and Steve and I just relaxed. I needed that. To do nothing.
Today after I get off in roughly an hour—we’ll be driving to Spokane. At long last I’ll get to see Lianna. As usual, negotiations with handling the dogs is a challenge. To kill the rest of my work time, I should run over to CHNW and set up a profile for a new person in RCO. But I thought I’d make one last post before I disappear for the weekend. *sighs*
I am going to take the laptop I am “testing,” from work, as well as the wireless aircard though. Perhaps I *will* make posts. Not sure yet. Chris left an hour and a half early. I’m still here. Again. Alone on a Friday. Damn Fridays are strange!
It’s cold in this office. I guess that’s good.
MY brain is shutting down. I think I need food. Anyway.
Time for me to prepare for the visit of LB...

Date: 2004-08-02 12:25 pm (UTC)Have fun in conservative Christian paradise, eh? ;)
You should visit the park downtown by the river...aptly named "Riverfront Park". There are lots of ducks/geese and one of the most famous carousels in the world. I've not been there in a long time, and at that time it was lacking repair funds and having issues, but it's STILL really neat.
I don't know what you're doing there nor if you'll have time to wander, but you should go to the northern communities (newer suburbs), past that, to the Little Spokane River area, there are some really beautiful wilds and trails. You'd have to ask for directions, probably, but I can give them to you sometime later if you'd like.
Oh..
then again, I don't know if you've already returned or not...
so..eh, maybe next time.
I should go back there and visit sometime.
