Here's why voting is important along with making sure you're registered to vote where you say you are.

that's really kind of sick.

and i still think there is something that he can do about being harassed for a few hours by cops and homeland security boys...

i dunno...but Bush has got to go, even if it doesn't get rid of the Patriot Act...

I just thought it was interesting. I'm not really a liberal or a republican, but it *would* be a pain in the ass.

I just posted as is from Cupiecake, [my friend.].

If the guy would have only provided his ID to the first cop that came up then he could have avoided the whole 8 on one situation. Personally I am glad that there is atleast a little more security surrounding certain areas. The first cop with the dog was not the brightest in the world when he said that there was no legal obligation to provide his ID but still. If you know you are doing nothing wrong why try and hide it.

So it seemed that one or some of the cops are slightly prejudice when they choose who they think looks suspicious and who doesn't. That has been going on for over 200 years now and I don't believe it is going to change anytime soon.

The Patriot Act is a good thing unless you have something to hide. And all the Patriot Act does is make it so Big Brother can find out who is a likely Terrorist threat. Not to mention all the other good things the Patriot act does. Everyone gets so upset about it cause it Violates your Privacy or some shit like that. Which I will agree it does give you less privacy but only if you are a terrorist or someone suspected of having terrorist involvement.

The other things that it does do are far greater then that. For one it doubled the amount of money a Civil Servant's family would recieve if they were killed in the line of duty.

It also establishes a fund for the familys of terrorist Victims. But no one ever mentions some of the good things it does.

Maybe someone should bother reading the whole thing before they make remarks about it. http://www.epic.org/privacy/terrorism/hr3162.html

btw the sections I am refering to are 613 and 621-624

Aww, damn, that was what I was gonna do! Not as a reply to Bulter's post... just as a random comment to any of Angela's ramblings. We had been joking about how funny it would be if someone just posted: "blah blah blah blah..."
