I want to post, but I have so little time for the real posting to happen! Suffice to say SideA is tied up, and we're in the new place (874). Now to get it polished and de-stressed after moving. And of course - slammed in the office with tons of work.

It’s been another slow LJ week. I didn’t have words for my latest blahs. Regarding the rental unit, regarding much other life adjustments.

So anywho. I still don’t really! Ack. I’ll just add a few things since I’ve been particularly quiet.

The last two days sucked because I couldn’t go running. Circuit training made me sore again. Made Jim sore too. Heh. We’ll be doing it once a week until it stops making us sore, then perhaps increase it to twice – more or less it sucks because it slows me down as far as workouts the next 2 days. And really I suspect it’s more day 2 than day 1.

I will excitedly await the results of happy strength training. I know it will show in my run times. It has been nice with Jim living with me. Although we are still definitely adjusting. Right now is the challenge regarding my eating habits verses his. It would never have mattered until this year when I actually started giving a shit about my food habits. He also likes to “eat with me,” meaning, eat the food I eat, except thereby being affected by my choices. He doesn’t always think it is enough. Welllllll… damn.

He likes to “eat with me,” but then it becomes an issue when my food choices are limited. (IE – I am not gung ho on eating out like I once was.)

It’s still well and good though. He has started his job more seriously with Shane. He worked 12 hours yesterday – and he didn’t necessarily have to. He has really been enjoying his new gig. (Car interior repair for local dealerships all over the area). Shane has his own business, and a partner. Jim is his one employee. Shane is my best friend’s boyfriend. Yes. It’s interesting. My best friend’s guy is my guy’s boss.
Shane is training Jim. The two are a good match in working I think because they are both extremely positive, and not macho – hard working people. That and both have fair, reasonable heads on their shoulders.
We’ll see how late Jim works tonight. He has tomorrow off. He said something similar to “we can hang out that evening.” I had to remind him that no, I actually have plans almost immediately after work. Felt a little bad because it sounded nice. But yeah. Plans.
That means tonight will be my chance to have a peaceful evening with him. Last night was more or less us bickering about what to eat. Damn.

THANKFUL THURSDAY! )

I have so much to post about today. And no time to do it. Not until later tonight - that is.
Good things about the SideA!

This is incredibly last minute of me.
And I am the one who HATES last minute plans, but, as it were - with the moving that is pending and me not wanting his birthday to slip into
"it's all about Angela moving," I decided that tonight - (and he agreed this would make him a happy birthday boy) we will go to the Cheesecake Factory on the eastside.

Anyone interested in joining us to celebrate Jim's 25th birthday around 10 or 10:30 tonight (after he gets off work) - please comment!

So far I have Travis, Jim, Mike, myself. We had agreed if no one responded that it would still be fun just him and I (cause like, we're awesome like that).

Buuut, it'd be fun to get a little group together of his friends. So, if you're free and able to hit the eastside area - PLEASE come and we'll celebrate the man's quarter-century birfday. He'll be 25 on Lughnasadh.

Side note, on Lughnasadh, his actual birthday, we'll be drinking ice wine for dessert (we bought it from a winery and it was oh so good!) and I will cook us our first dinner and eat it in SideA, one on one! Sounds cute and fabulous.

Moving

A little organization for my sanity. It is time.

The house will be cut up into 5 categories. 3 or 4 that will be dealt with before move-date if at all possible. Definitely 1-3 if I can help it!

1- Kitchen/Living room
2- Bathroom
3- Bedroom

4- The Room of Doom. The side room.
5- Patio area

Moving Checklists. To make it feel more attainable. )

Today promises to be a great day.
Yesterday was nice. Jim came over and I showed him SideA. This has implications that I can scarcely believe. More in an entry once I get into the office. I keep trying to write entries lately and then writing 4 pages, and then deleting them and not posting at all.

Dorky, I know.

Regardless, here's my early morning TT.

+ Jimmy
+ The boys (Rufus and Fritz)
+ Jimmy and the boys love each other ;)
+ Mom gets the internet tomorrow I hope (back)
+ New life to help with living for today and easing the pain of yesterday.
+ Truffles and Eeyore! Bundles of joy.
+ The future
+ Side A in a month!
+ Breakfast with the sweetie
+ Dinner with the sweetie
+ Companionship
+ Domesticness. That one's for you, herne51
+ Coffee
+ An early bedtime that makes an early start easier
+ Music
+ Showers
+ Sex
+ Coffee
+ My t509 phone
+ My laptop
+ Re-discovering my 19" flatscreen
+ Buying and now owning the movie Kinsey (9.99!)
+ The ability to start the workday running.
+ Annoying co worker hasn't showed up yet (I can see when she does, she parks outside my sliding glass door on the other side of my fence, bluh.)
+ Sunshine
+ Rain
+ My hair is easier to maintenance.
+ I am now 156 lbs (down from 170), 1 lb from my experimental goal! I surpassed my 160 initial goal and now I'm even skinnier/healthier! And hella fit! My clothes fit EXACTLY how I want them to. How often do women say THAT? Hah!
+ Oh oh! And previously always outweighing my man, he now weighs 170 (up from 160). I actually just like to be a lil bit lighter than the manflesh. LOL.
+ I lost 2 lbs this week in spite of 2 BBQs in a row (Saturday and Sunday) and, a rootbeer float with a biggie fry. LOL. Damn. It was good. I swear it tastes 20 times as good when you don't have it everyday.
+ Doing things to make ME happy first. (This endeavor was about me, but the man doesn't complain - it inspires him.)
