Compiz Fusion

Although I'm in love with Compiz Fusion in many ways...
I have also messed up my graphic settings a few times trying to get too "creative" with it.
Right now I accidentally set my right click button as the rotate cube default (I was TRYING to reset it from Control+Alt to Button1+Button2 of the mouse...)

I guess the way I typed it didn't quite work right.
Now I'm fighting the hindered lacked of right click mouse function and the fact I can't get into the SYSTEM to edit compiz-advanced visualization settings. Oooooops.

This is, however - forcing me to use my creative skills and try and do it via command. I'm just lazy. And my last venture (to disable compiz, to remove compiz, etc) have failed to work.
I had tried to remove Compiz out of the autostart script (?) to see if that would work. Hmmmmmmmm. Damn Compiz!!!! Love/hate.

hunt in the package manager for compiz, and you'll find a gnome utility that puts an icon on the panel which lets you change settings and turn compiz on and off.. pretty cool!

That is a good idea. At least I can get to the package manager, phew. *goes to look for a panel util.* So much fun! hahah.

It only makes sense that someone as technical as you are in your daily life would have at least have tried Linux, but I never imagined you did. This is rather cool discovery, in my opinion. what distro do you use?

that's cool. I'm a unix geek from way back. I installed my first linux system in '93. Ever tried any of the other distros?
