Whilst getting coffee this morning with TS, I was complaining about Annoying CoWorker.
He has been trying this new thing called, "letting it go." I decided perhaps I will go on this again. I've done it before, but usually it builds up and eventually I just get mad in the grand scheme and forget to "let it go."

Today marks the first day in which I try very hard to "let it go," no matter how ridiculous it is. I am thinking a few more positive and inspirational sayings might help me in achieving a little more self peace lately. Do you have any good ones to contribute? I know a few co workers elsewhere have some awesome ones. I should go and copy them down onto paper and transcribe them somewhere for myself.

I am sure things can begin to look brighter if I just try a little harder to let the craptastic things go by without letting them into my energy bubble. After all.

Also; I'd like to post later on "shaping your own reality." This is sort of a reminder for myself that I'd like to write on that.

Funny, i stuck a handwritten note on my wall in fat black sharpie that just says "Let Go". It's a useful and constant reminder.

I have kind of been trying this same "let it go" thing too.

There are the 4 Noble Truths, that go a little something like this...

There's suffering (which usually comes from attachment)
Discovering the cause of suffering
Figuring out a way to end the suffering
Then the path to actually end the suffering

That's not to say that attachment is bad... or that everything is suffering (which is such a negative term, but really it's just stuff which distracts us or bothers us on either a minimal or serious level).

So basically...
this is bothering me...
why is this bothering me...
what could I do to not make this bother me...

Make sense?
It's something I'm still kinda trying to figure out for myself, but the more I've thought about it (and discussed it in Shaolin...).. the more I find it to help me with frustrations and such.

Well, I hope this helps even just a bit.
*hugs*

Definitely a good problem solving mechanism.
You can't solve it if you don't know what it is, and why it upsets you.

True, true.

Good luck with that. I suck at the "letting go" thing, so I can't really offer any help there.

As far as inspirational sayings, though, one of my favorites is:
"...whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should..."

Actually, the whole Desiderata is pretty awesome... :)

Awesome!

Thanks for the quote.
I rather like it.

And "letting it go," is not as simple as it sounds. I think we all know that. Ugh. But I think maybe I will try a tiny bit harder.

Just to see how well I can do. Our type are pretty much horrible at it because we want to hyper-analyze everything, which makes it hard to "let one go."
:P
